- Dear GCBC Parents:
- Happy New Year! I pray you were able to enjoy celebrating Christmas as a family and that you were able to have sweet time with one another over the Christmas break. We will be returning to our sermon series in Romans this Sunday as Jason Post takes us through Romans 4:1-12. These verses once again remind us that we are made right with God through our faith in him and not from any work (or good deeds) we have done. Paul uses Abraham as his example of this. It was Abraham’s faith that made him right with God, not his obedience or his circumcision or anything he did. This is the same for us today. We are made right with God through our faith (belief) in Jesus Christ alone. Nothing else! It’s that simple. I pray you continue to have good conversations with your children about faith and their need for a Saviour.God Bless,
