30 May 2021 Sermon Helps (Kids/Youth)

11am On-line Service 30 May 2021

Dear GCBC Parents:

The Scripture for this week’s church service is Romans 10:14-21. The first verses are encouraging believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and then the rest of the verses speak to the fact that not everyone who hears the gospel will believe it.

As parents, we can speak to our children and teens about how we can tell others about Jesus. What does that look like in our every day lives? at school? in our neighbourhoods? at our club trainings and meetings? with our family? Remind them that the Bible says, “how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” Telling others about Jesus brings God glory.

We can also talk with our children about how some people might not want to hear about Jesus or want to believe in Him, and that is okay. What should we do when this happens? How can we show people the love of Jesus instead of telling them? And then encourage them that we can always pray for these people to want to know and believe in Jesus.

I pray you have engaging conversations with your children this week. Take the opportunity to share about who told you the Good News of Jesus and how and when you responded with belief in that Good News. I bet they would love to know!

God Bless,

Mandy
