Here are a few interesting things that other churches are doing to reach out to their neighbours during this time. Perhaps some might be transferrable. I’ve talked with most of our neighbours (from a safe distance) offering any assistance they might need, but I don’t have many neighbours! Perhaps you would be willing to write your phone number on a card and drop it into letterboxes offering help? There are a lot of possible ways we can reach out. I heard of one church whose pastors were sending brief snippets of Psalms via WhatsApp to some of their close, non-believing, contacts as a way to plant seeds of the Gospel. Is there a way we can offer to pray for our lost friends/family? These are times of opportunity!
