Tim Keller, Pastor from New York City, gave a great lecture and Q&A as part of his Questioning Christianity series on how Christianity offers a better way of dealing with difficult times. It begins with an overview of how various religions/belief systems deal with suffering and concludes with a consideration of how Christianity offers something better (time stamp 24:30). He gives some application points at 33:50. The last half is Q&A. It is very helpful and worth the 1 hour and 26 minute investment (the Q&A begins at 40:33).
