Hebrews 6:19 says “We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf…”
An anchor for the soul that is sure and steadhast. Who doesn’t want that in times of storm! So, where do we find this anchor? What is the “this” in the verse above? If you look up a few verses it is God’s Word of promise. This is where our soul finds rest in the midst of the storms. It’s not in our ingenuity or intelligence. It is in God’s faithful Word of promise.
